Faculty Highlight - Andy Riise
US Army Lt Col (Ret) Andy Riise is a respected leadership and mental performance coach considered a pioneer in health and human performance programs for the US Military. He’s a 2001 West Point graduate and former Army football player who spent over 20 years leading Soldiers with multiple overseas combat deployments and five years in two elite Special Forces units.
Andy is a presidential leadership scholar who taught psychology and leadership at West Point, Texas A&M and is currently at Sam Houston State University. Andy was a professional mental performance coach for two Major League Baseball teams and four National Football League teams. He's presently the Mental Performance and Leadership Coordinator for the Chicago Bears.
As the founder of Design to Perform, he’s a keynote speaker, consultant, and coach who guides leaders and teams in business, sports, emergency services, and health care on how to train your brain to lead, grow, and win from within. His wife, Katie, and their four children live in Montgomery, TX.
